PUBLIC NOTICE FOR FIVE-YEAR REVIEW, FORMER FORT DEVENS SUPERFUND SITE, DEVENS, MASSACHUSETTS

The U.S. Army Base Realignment and Closure Division (BRAC) is announcing the start of the fifth Five-Year Review of remedial actions taken at the former Fort Devens Federal Superfund Site, Devens, MA. The purpose of the Five-Year Review is to evaluate whether the cleanup methods put in place at the site are working as designed and continue to remain protective of human health and the environment as required by the Superfund law. It is anticipated that this Five-Year Review will be completed in September 2020. The 2015 Five-Year Review can be downloaded by clicking here.

The Army invites the local community to take part in the review process by participating in a community interview or attending the Restoration Advisory Board (RAB) meetings. If you would like to participate in an interview, please contact:
