The Former Fort Devens Environmental Data Management System (EDMS) Portal is a collaborative web system that is designed to allow all project team members to share information throughout planning, sample collection, and data analysis. Data acquisition tools are provided to all data generators, including laboratories, field personnel, data validators, etc. Data is loaded into the portal on an ongoing basis, ensuring consistent standards are applied across data types.

The portal is also used to store electronic documents, GIS maps, photography and project management information. Automated reports are used to save time and increase consistency in production documents.
